Dr. Meg Sexsmith, optometrist
Dr. Meg Sexsmith grew up in Canada, the Middle East and Europe. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees at The University of Waterloo, Ontario. She is a licensed Doctor of Optometry with over 21 years of experience as an Optometrist and 31 years experience in the Optical industry. She has worked and lived in Ontario, The Cayman Islands, Northern British Columbia, serving remote native communities, Victoria and Vancouver. Dr Sexsmith has a particular interest in new technologies applied to spectacle lens design and contact lens design. She likes to be involed in her patients full eyecare experience from the eye exam to the frame and lens selection, manufacture and the final inspection of the glasses. Dr Sexsmith is interested in new technologies developed to diagnose and treat eye disease.
In her spare time she enjoys Snowboarding, Boating, Film, Reading and spending time with her children. |

Dr. Jolene Sun, optometrist
Dr. Jolene Sun grew up in Vancouver, BC. She completed her Bachelor of Science
degree at the University of British Columbia. She then received her Doctor of
Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. In addition to
her studies at Pacific University, she volunteered with an organization called
Amigos Eye Care which brings vision services to different areas of the world.
This gave her a unique opportunity to bring vision care to remote areas in
Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Dr. Sun's clinical experience includes LASIK
comanagement at Teplick Laser Surgery Center in Oregon, and eye disease
management at an Indian Health Services clinic and a Veterans Affairs Medical
Center in the State of Washington. Dr. Sun is able to conduct comprehensive eye
examinations in both English and Cantonese. |
